| "SALT", "Stayin' In Touch" and "Core" Ministries
At New Banklick, we don't have a youth "group." We have a YOUTH MINISTRY! We strive not to have a club or a group, but we strive for our students to be actively involved in ministry. Through ministry, relationships happen as a result. We have various ministries that we would like to plug you into. What has the Lord equipped you for? Most of the time when we think ministry, we think of a preacher from the pulpit or a teacher. You can fit in many different forms of ministry determing on what the Lord has equipped you for. Do you have a natural tendency to be a leader? Maybe you can eventually become a member of our "SALT" team. "SALT" stands for "Student and Adult Leadership Team." This is a group of student leaders and adult leaders that meet with our student pastor, Josiah, for training and assisting in planning and organization. After a period of 6 months involved in our ministry and an evaluation process, you may be a part of this team. We also have our "Core" Ministries. We also have our "Stayin' In Touch" Ministry. This ministry is geared in welcoming our visitors and guests and making sure they feel welcome and wanted into our fellowship. Come check us out and we'll tell you more about this special ministry. Our Core ministries are other ministries that are day by day at our services.
